MONUMENTS IN ARMENIA NOT REGISTERED YET
''We implement fact writing works on the Armenian monuments,'' Samvel Karapetyan, director of an organization engaged in the research of the Armenian architecture, informed. In his words, it is a shame we do not have a registrar of the Armenian monuments yet although the country is on the space of 30 thousand square meters.
He mentioned that the organization has been engaged in fact writing works since 1920 but they have not finished as of yet. ''There are about 1000 villages on the territory of Armenia that have monuments not under registration. The registered monuments should be published in books according to marzes but we do not have such books yet,'' Karapetyan added.
