The experts profoundly signify the importance of Paradjanov’s works exhibition in Kiev. “It was very important to hold en exhibition there in Kiev, as Paradjanov passed a great deal of his life there. He became a professional producer there,” said Zaven Sargsyan, the director of Paradjanov’s museum.

He said that there is another important factor to hold Paradjanov’s museum abroad: many people have letters and collages of him and they hand the pieces to the directory staff. “The exhibition gives and opportunity to collect them even if not the originals,” said the director.

According to Sargsyan, many famous cultural authorities visited the museum the very first day it was opened. The museum will last till 16 March. Sargsyan also added that Paradjanov’s works are presented abroad mostly, as there is a great demand of them.
