Iran and Armenia hold negotiations over rehabilitation of Lake Urmia, Mohammad-Javad Mohammadizadeh, Vice President and Head of Environmental Protection Organization of Iran, told reporters after the cabinet meeting, according to Tabnak.ir.

During his recent visit to Yerevan, among other issues, Mohammadizadeh discussed with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan the joint monitoring and use of Arax River water, creation of Friendship and Peace Park at Iran-Armenia border territory and other issues of mutual interest.
