Electricity prices may be reviewed – energy official
The electricity tariffs are not frozen in Armenia and they are reviewed from time to time, Armenian Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Ara Simonyan said on Monday in response to a question of Prosperous Armenia MP Mikael Melkumyan.
“However, there is no decision at this moment,” he added.
According to Simonyan, the energy system has come across some problems. “Discussions are underway and when they result in a review of tariffs, the respective decision will be made. I can say nothing definitely at this moment,” he concluded.
