Armenian, Greek leaders attend opening of business forum in Yerevan
The Presidents of Armenia and Greece attended the opening of Armenian-Greek business forum in Yerevan on Tuesday.
General Director of the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) Robert Harutyunyan noted that the aim of the event is to establish and expand trade and economic ties between Armenia and Greece.
In Harutyunyan’s words, the business forum will enable Armenian businessmen to present investment and business proposals, will contribute to the establishment of new contacts between the two countries as well as to the enhancement of mutually beneficial cooperation and trade and economic ties.
Harutyunyan said that representatives of 16 Greek companies have arrived in Armenia for the event. They represent different industrial branches: information technologies, construction and machinery, metallurgy, telecommunication, agriculture, medical tourism, tourism services and others.
