Dink’s assassination chief suspect Samast made allegations against Hurriyet and Vatan
The fourth court hearing over the assassination of renowned Turkish Armenian journalist, editor-in-chief of “Agos” daily Hrant Dink took place yesterday in Istanbul criminal court.
The chief suspect Ogun Samast made allegations against Turkish media outlets, which spread hatred and hostility against Hrant Dink. According to “Sondakika” in a three-page long letter to the court, Samast has particularly said: “The real criminals and lawbreakers are the heads of “Hurriyet” and “Vatan” dailies which publish stories titled The parricide, unscrupulous Armenians. Where are they? Why don’t they stand before the court? Who have commanded them?” The next court hearing is scheduled on 17 June.
