Anush Aslibekyan’s play “Mercedes” presented in Cairo
The Young Spectators’ Theater of Yerevan participated in the 23rd Cairo International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theatre, presenting Anush Aslibekyan’s “Mercedes”, directed by Art Director of the theatre Hakob Ghazanchyan.
As Panorama.am learnt from the Young Spectators’ Theater, spectators welcomed the play of the Armenian actors. According to the report the performance was attended by Armenian Ambassador to Egypt Armen Merkonyan and Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Egypt, Bishop Ashot Mnatsakanyan. The latter invited the theatre staff to stage the play in the Armenian cultural center for the representatives of the Armenian community.
To note, 29 performances from 13 states were staged in the frames of the 23dr International Festival for Contemporary and Experimental Theatre.
