Gallup polls indicate significant decline in EAEU rating in Armenia
Armenian representation of the Gallup International Association has addressed the question “Which path of integration is more preferable for Armenia?” to 1145 respondents during an opinion poll conducted in Armenia.
36% of the respondents replied in favour of the EAEU, 27,2% supported the EU and 21.7% said that Armenia needs to stay away from the integration processes.
Director of Gallup International Association Office in Armenia Aram Navasardyan, who presented the outcome of the polls, noted that the results of the poll indicate significant decrease in the EAEU index to compare with their previous polls.
“Various measurements showed that the index of joining the EAEU made up 54-64 percent. The index of the EU has increased significantly,” he said.
To note, the Armenian representation of the Gallup International Association has conducted a second opinion polling in Armenia titled “Parliamentary Elections 2017 (Stage 2): Political parties and bloc rates by March 20.” The poll has been conducted in the territory of Armenia from 12 to 19 March.
