Minor earthquake with epicenter in Azerbaijan felt in Stepanakert
An earthquake of 4.4 magnitude was registered 60km northeast of Mingachevir town, Azerbaijan on Friday at about 10:15 (GMT 06:15), Armenia’s National Service for Seismic Protection at Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported, adding the geographical coordinates of the epicenter were northern latitude 40.100 and eastern longitude 47.540. The epicenter of the earthquake was on the depth of 12 kilometers., the source added.
According to the source, in the epicenter the magnitude of the earthquake was registered 5-6 points. The 3-magnitude quake was felt in Stepanakert, Artsakh Republic.
