ARF representative says Armenian Genocide Resolution pressure over White House
New Armenian Genocide resolution that has been submitted to the U.S. Senate, Giro Manoyan says is expression of protest against formation of sub-governmental committee and signified Senator Menendez’s role who has great asset in the processes of recognizing Armenian Genocide.
“Resolution 252 submitted to the House of Representatives has 132 supporters and the resolution has been submitted to the Senate,” the director of ARF Armenian cause office said. It’s a pressure open the White House to separate Armenian-turkish ties from the issue of Armenian Genocide and to descry them as two different items.
Earlier, Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ) and John Ensign (R-NV) introduced the Armenian Genocide Resolution in the U.S. Senate.
