Expert says Genocide is matter of national security
What did football diplomacy do for Armenia and Turkey? Andranik Tevanyan, the director of “Politeconomy” center introduced to the reporters his observations in this regard.
Expert says we wanted to get open borders and normalized diplomatic ties, but we have neither of them. But Turkey was lucky to get what it wanted to – they froze the processes of recognizing Armenian genocide in the world.
Tevanyan developed his observation saying he is concerned that those states who have recognized Armenian Genocide might make a step back. To Panorama.am question whether it is allowed by international norms, the expert said that yes it is.
A. Tevanyan says that Genocide issue is not an emotional but matter of national security.
