PACE to discuss another anti-Armenian Resolution N 1416 in June
Strasbourg will host another PACE session June 21-25 to discuss another anti-Armenian Resolution N 1416, Armenian NA deputy Zaruhi Postanjyan told reporters Wednesday.
Z. Postanjyan said, like Resolution N 2216, endorsed Thursday by the European Parliament, which labeled Armenia as “occupant”, this Resolution also presents Armenia as “occupier” of some Azerbaijani territories.
“We have the right to make 16 reports in the PACE, if at least 6 of them referred to what Azerbaijan has occupied and what actually happened and there were reports on historical realities, this situation might have not been recorded,” Z. Postanjyan said.
She added that Azerbaijan, for example, is the legal successor of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan, proclaimed in 1918, which didn’t include either Nagorno-Karabakh or Nakhichevan. As far as the endorsed documents go, both the EU and the Council of Europe and other European institutions work jointly: the documents circulated and the reports made there are tightly interconnected, Postanjyan said.
Thus, according to her, the next shelter for Turkish-Azerbaijani anti-NKR, anti-Armenian campaign is PACE Turkish President Mevlut Cavusoglu activities, directed to call to life PACE Resolution N 1446 (2005): the re-establishment of the sub-committee on Nagorno-Karabakh.
