“It’s at least amazing that President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mevlut Chavushglu confesses to be unaware of the important developments related to the Karabakh issue, which the international community has been speaking about in the course of the past two weeks, the Minsk Group co-chair countries and different international organization have released statements,” Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan declared in response to the statement of the PACE President that he is not aware of the bellicose statements of Azerbaijan, and even about the provocation of the Azerbaijani side at the contact line during the night of June 18-19.

“If this is the case, this once again proves the assertion of the Armenian side that PACE is not competent enough to address the Nagorno-Karabakh issue and it can only harm the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs targeted at the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict,” Hovik Abrahamyan said.
