Turkish Deputy PM: We must solve our problems with Armenia
Turkish Deputy PM Bulent Arinc, extended a speech at “Leaders’ of revolutions summit”, which kicked off in Istanbul, and referred to the significance of normalizing Armenian-Turkish relations. According to Turkish “Habergec” publication, Turkish statesman underscored that Ankara is faithful to “zero problem with neighbors” policy and supports regional and global peace in general.
“We have problems with Armenia. We want and we must solve those problems. Armenia has the following significance for us – once Armenians lived in these lands, by the way, many of them used to. There were Armenian ministers in the government. We had Armenian musicians. There were Armenian architects who built our palaces. All of them were the riches of this country. They left and we have been deprived of the wealth,” Bulent Arinc said. He stated, irrespective of the guilties, Turkey would be trying to normalize relations with Armenia.
It’s worth reminding that Archbishop Barsamian of US Eastern Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Church also attends the summit.
