Columnist of Turkish daily “Hurriyet” Taha Akyol highlighted the topic of presidential elections scheduled in 2014 in Turkey. The domestic political scenario in Turkey, according to the columnist, will be reversing of the roles as Recep Tayyip Erdogan will run as presidential candidate and incumbent president Abdullah Gul will be appointed as PM.

According to constitutional reforms Turkey’s president is elected for 5 years term through referendum.
