Iranian MFA: Iran not involved in Turkey protests
The Iranian Foreign Ministry refutes the information that Iran is involved in Turkey protests, Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Araqchi told semi-official Fars news agency in an interview.
The spokesperson commented on the information that an Iranian citizen has been detained during a protest in Ankara. “We have also learnt about it from the media. We have formally applied to Turkey for the verification of the information,” he said.
