Sharmazanov: Non-recognition and denial of Armenian Genocide paved the way for Nazism and Fascism
Deputy Speaker of Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov met with Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives of Belarus Viktor Guminsky today in Minsk, Armenian parliament’s press service reported.
Both sides noted that Armenia and Belarus are strategic partners, with the bilateral relations based on close friendly ties and mutual trust.
The two also discussed cooperation between the delegations of the two countries within CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly and CSTO Parliamentary Assembly.
Mr Sharmazanov said that in 2015, the entire progressive mankind will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
“The non-recognition and denial of the Armenian Genocide paved the way for Nazism and Fascism,” Sharmazanov said, adding that he is hopeful that the parliament of Belarus will turn to the issue of Armenian Genocide.
