Armenian, Greek FMs discuss Karabakh conflict
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Greek counterpart Evangelos Venizelos on Thursday in Newport on the sidelines of the NATO summit, the press service of Armenian Foreign Ministry reported.
The meeting participants discussed the preparations for the Greek President’s visit to Armenia and exchanged thoughts on development of Armenian-Greek relations. The two Ministers highlighted the importance of cooperation within international organizations.
Nalbandian and Venizelos also discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Greek Foreign Minister expressed his support for the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs aimed at a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
International and regional issues were also discussed at the meeting.
