Local government elections held in 207 communities of Nagorno Karabakh
52,765 voters cast their ballots in local government elections held in the Nagorno Karabakh Republic yesterday, on September 13, according to the website of Central Election Commission of the NKR.
According to the preliminary results of voting, Suren Grigoryan, the incumbent mayor of NKR’s capital city of Stepanakert, has won by collecting 10,686 votes. Another mayoral candidate, Aris Grigoryan, received 3,303 votes.
Local government elections took place in 207 communities of NKR on September 13.
