Monument to Armenian musician Onno Tunc destroyed in Turkey
A monument to Onno Tunc, a leading Turkish-Armenian musician, working mainly as a composer and an arranger, has been completely destroyed in Turkey.
The monument was erected in the city of Yalova ten years ago. It had been attacked periodically until it was destroyed completely 15 days ago, Aksam reported.
Mayor of Yalova Yakup Bilgin Koçal has pledged to restore the monument in a short time, Posta reported.
Onno Tunc died in a plane crash at the age of 48. He was survived by two daughters Selin and Ayda from his first wife, Canan Ates.
