Serzh Sargsyan, Vladimir Putin to discuss cooperation within CSTO

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan will meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow on August 8.

During the meeting, the sides will discuss bilateral political, humanitarian and trade-economic cooperation, the Kremlin reported.

Russia is the main foreign investor and a key trade partner of Armenia. Russia has invested over $2.8 billion in Armenia. Armenia and Russia had a trade turnover of $434.8 million in January-May 2012.

The Presidents will discuss Eurasian integration of Russia and Armenia within the framework of the CIS and CSTO and talk about international and regional problems, including the situation in the Trans-Caucasus.
