Azerbaijan playing double game: Islamic conference attention needed
Although a member of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Azerbaijani Ambassador says his country is not an Islamic state, Iranian arannews.ir report says.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Great Britain Fakhredin Ghorbanov commenting on Azerbaijan’s intentions to host gay parade in the framework of Eurovision 2012 said:
“Our country is not only an Islamic state. We are hosting gays during Eurovision international song contest.”
The Iranian media underlines that being a member of Islamic Conference, Azerbaijan seems having expectations from the member states regarding NK issue.
