On June 28 President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan partook at the solemn events dedicated to the 19th anniversary of Martakert's liberation, NKR President's press office said.

The Head of State qualified the liberation of the town as one of the most important military and political victories of our national liberation struggle.

Bako Sahakyan then presented with state awards a group of freedom fighters of the Artsakh liberation struggle.
Artsakh Republic National Assembly deputies, members of the Cabinet, guests from Armenia and abroad partook at the festive events.
