Armenian President attends opening of UWC Dilijan College
The United World College Dilijan (UWC Dilijan College) opened on Saturday, with a solemn ceremony.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, Nagorno-Karabakh President Bako Sahakyan, Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II, the founders and partners attended the opening ceremony.
Serzh Sargsyan, accompanied by Bako Sahakyan, Tomislav Nikolić and His Holiness Karekin II, toured the school and familiarized with the conditions created for students.
The school has 96 students, aged between 16 and 17, from 50 countries. By 2023, it is expected to have 650 students, from at least 60 countries. The studies are conducted in English.
