Demoyan: Liquidation of Genocide consequences is security matter for Armenian people
Liquidation of the consequences of the 1915 Armenian Genocide is a matter of security for the Armenian people, Hayk Demoyan, director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, said during a conference organized by Yerevan-based Center for Excellence in Negotiation.
He called not to lose the sense of reality. “There are various problems in the world. During this year we saw massacres. What was the reaction of the international community?”
Demoyan stressed that the Armenian Genocide issue is a matter of security and guarantee of the future for Armenia.
Head of Modus Vivendi Center Ara Papyan said for his part that the recognition of the Armenian Genocide without compensation is unacceptable. The analyst underscored the need to transfer the Genocide recognition issue to the legal field.
