An application by Armentel submitted to the Commission for Regulation of Public Services to reconsider the current fees for fixed telecommunications was rejected at today’s session. Both “ArmenTel” and the Regulation Commission must come to an agreement concerning the prices within 45 days, which in their turn must be clarified by October 1. We should mention that the company had applied to the Commission on June 1. The application proposes a reduction of prices for long-distance and mobile calls and revision of fixed of fixed telecommunications fees. Specificaly, the monthly fee for physical persons is supposed to be 2040AMD instead of the present 1100 AMD. Some fees have remained unchanged.
