Economic growth at 13.2% in first nine months of 2007
From January to September of this year, gross domestic production in the country in Armenia stands at 13.2%. As stated by the State Bureau of Statistics, the current figure stands at 2016.6 million dram. In the first nine months of the year, the figure rose 625,340 dram (1785 dollars, or 1329 Euros).
The gross result is 60.3%, which went to various branches of the economy. A growth of 18.8% came from agriculture, and from energy production, 17.7%, with 23.8% coming from construction. The amount of taxes received from internal production was 10% of the total, compared to 8.7% from last year. We note that last year’s budget foresaw a 9% growth in domestic production.
