KARABAKH PROBLEM WILL NOT DISTURB ARMENIA TO BECOME FINANCIAL CENTER IN THE REGION
Armenia tends to become the financial center in the region. Today Nout Wellink, the president of Netherlands Bank, announced in the press conference. According to him Armenia is on the right way, but it has to strengthen its development, too. He mentioned that Armenia has several important conditions for that. “First it is economic condition, as for 6-7 years the country received to huge development,” said the president of the bank.
Tigran Sargsyan, the president of Armenian Central Bank announced that in order to become a financial center Armenia must have financial service and quality to create interest to the countries in the region and also to the participants of the financial market. “For this reason we must find special services to increase the quality level,” mentioned Tigran Sargsyan.
According to Nout Wellink, the problem of Karabakh will not disturb Armenia to become a financial center. He also added that he appreciates ACB activities directed to Karabakh.
