EXHIBITION DEVOTED TO 100 ANNIVERSARIES OF GARZOU
Today an exhibition devoted to the famous French-Armenian artist Garzou (Garnik Zulumyan) was opened in the National library to celebrate his 100 anniversaries. “More that 25-30 books, 15 journals are presented in the exhibition devoted to the artist. There are also French journals,” said Gohar Harutunyan, the chief librarian of the painting and map department.
Garzou had many individual exhibitions not only in France but also in Armenia. In 1966 the first exhibition took place in Yerevan and nearly 150 graphic works he gifted to the library.
