ARMENIA - PORTUGAL. FOURTH CONFRONTATION
Today in Leria, Portugal, Europe 2008 leadership will take place and Armenian-Portugal teams will meet. By the UEFA decision the referee of the game is an English famous referee Mike Rile. Mike Rile is particularly famous because of his strictness and showing too many yellow cards.
In the case of winning the game the Armenian football team will only success to gain sixth horizontal, whereas the Portuguese – pass to the finals. Besides the Portuguese have lacks its players – Karvalo, Dekou, Ferreira, Miguel. The Armenian team does not have such problems.
Armenian and Portuguese teams met for three times, two of which ended in a draw, and one finished with the lost of our national team. Now the Portuguese teams ranges 10th in FIFA list and Armenia – 82nd.
