14, 16, 18 YEARS OLD WIN GAMES IN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP IN TURKEY

The representatives of Armenia among 10 years old won one game and lost two in youth chess tournament in Kemer-Antalia town of Turkey. Mariam Manukyan of the same age group has recorded a victory. Two games among 12 years old boys ended with the victory of the Armenian boys, Hovanes Gabuzyan and Norair Torosyan. The girls of the same age group played a draw.
Our players of 14 years old scored 3 victories in 3 games. Lusine Torosyan played a draw in the same age group. Among 16 years old, two of our players, Robert Hovanisyan and David Gevorgyan, scored two victories and Arusiak Karhanyan of the same age group lost the game. Finally, three of our players in the age group of 18, Avetik Grigoryan, Hrant Melkumyan, Hovik Hairapetyan, recorded three victories in three games and Nune Darbinyan of the same age group won another victory among girls.
The tournament started on November 17 and will continue until November 29. About 2000 chess players from about 50 countries have arrived in Turkey to compete.
