After the third stage of the Youth Chess World Competition Avetik Grigoryan, from the group of 18 years old, shares the game with Russian Ivan Popov in 3 ponts in the first horizontal of the competition. Hovik Hayrapetyan is in the 16th horizontal with 2.5 points in the same group. 16 years old Robert Hovannisyan gained 3 points from the possible 3, and shares 1-7 horizontals.
Samvel Ter-Sahakyan is in the group of 14 years old, and is in the group of leaders. The participants from India and Russia have the same scores. 12 years old Norayr Torosyan is in the list of the leaders too. Whereas, the results, of 10 years old Armenian chess players, are modest.
We have the same modest results in the group of Armenian women chess players. The best result gained Nune Darbinyan, 18 years old, and is on the 27th horizontal.
1450 chess players participate in the competition from 103 countries of the world. Armenia presents 24 chess players in this competition. The competition takes place in “Limra” hotel, in Kemer – Anthelia city. The competition start was fixed on November 17, and will last till November 29.
