ARMENIAN JUDOISTS PARTICIPATE IN EUROPEAN JUDO YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP
Our judo wrestlers leave for Austria to take part in European championship for 23 years old sportsmen tomorrow. Armenia presents six sportsmen in the championship: five sportsmen in 60kg, 66kg, 73kg, 81kg, and 90kg category and one sportswoman in 52kg. The championship will start tomorrow in Salzburg city. The information was produced by Armenian Judo Federation.
To remind that Hakob Arakelyan is the third prize winner of Europe championship, and Anush Hakobyan - the second prize winner of 2006 and 2007 Europe championship, and the third prize winner of World championship. Gagik Aghamalyan, as a referee and Aleksan Avetisyan, the president of Armenian Judo Federation were in the team of our sportsmen.
To remind that in the international judo championship “Gran Pri” held in Armenia Armenian sportsmen won two silver medals.
