KOMITAS CREATIONS PRESENTED TO PUBLIC
Today the presentation of Komitas creations; 14 volumes took place in Armenian National library. Komitas creations’ six volumes were published during Soviet Union. Those six volumes were published in 1982 and the rest eight ones recently in Georgi Gjodakyan printing house.
The wife of G. Gkodakyan Alina Pahlevanyan was also present at the meeting, as well as Davit Ghazaryan, the head of Armenian musical companionship, Anahit Baghdasaryan, Karine Djaghacpanyan, conservatory professors.
A. Pahlevanyan mentioned that the aim of Gjodakyan was to select Komitas creations and present them to his audience. And A. Baghdasaryan said that Gjodakyan brought into like a big and power job, as it is not an easy work to collect Komitas works.
During the meeting some creations of Komitas were sounded. Note that Samvel Sargsyan, the director of the National library, handed Gjodakyan Hakob Meghapart medal.
