NATIONAL COMPETITION
“Year’s project and structure” national competition – exhibition started today. More that 60 projects were presented which are in the process of realization or have been carried out during last 2 years. “Moscow House” and other elite buildings were presented in the exhibition, besides one of the architects offered to build a monument in the Republic Square, which ought to symbolize Armenian 12 capitals.
Private architects, groups, construction organizations also participate in the competition, and some foreign architects whose projects were structured for Armenia. Mkrtich Minasyan, the head of Architectural Union, said that the exhibition will give an opportunity to present public the best projects and buildings. Note that several nominations are assigned – Best salvation, Isolated building, Monument reconstruction, Best interior. The winners will get diplomas from Reconstruction Ministry and Architectural Museum.
