ISO FOUND ONE MILLION AND READY TO SELL MEDALS TO PUTIN FOR OTHER MILLIONS
The following are excerpts from an interview with ex world boxing champion Israel Hakobkokhyan who has self-nominated himself for the presidential elections 2008.
- You cannot believe how mixed everything is. I do not understand what is going on.
- And what is going on?
- There is a lot to do, then, the problem of that money, then I went to the passport department to take documents. They promised to give on Monday. I wanted to meet the department head Alvina Zakaryan. I asked the secretary to tell that Hakobkokhyan has come but the secretary refused saying that there is no arrangement. I got very angry.
- Could you collect money?
- I found the first million yesterday. I have to find 7 million as well to pay the
foundation.
- Who did you take the million?
- We came up with fellow people and invested in our deal.
- What about the rest of the money?
- The rest I intend to get from selling my medals. Some people have already called and made inquiries but as far as I understand that people do not need my medals that I have earned with my blood and sweat. There were some people who called and asked how much gold is there in my medals. Some think that I will sell them as golden crow-bar. Although I intended not to sell my medals to a foreigner, but it is not excluded that I will sell them to Russian president Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.
-How are you going to apply to Putin?
- I will send an e-mail to the Russian president. I watch TV and I see that his connections with the people are good. He is not very young and not very old not to have heard about me.
-Have you developed your pre-election program?
- I will not have any program and I will not print leaflets. The only program I will have will be everything for Armenia and for the Armenian nation. There are hundreds of ways how I can reach it. The most important thing will be that a person of an Armenian nation will have one motherland – Karabakh and Armenia. During my campaign, I will introduce me to the people and what I am going to do.
