INVESTIGATION SERIVCE HEAD AND INVESTIGATING OFFICERS SWORE
Today the swearing day of the RA investigation service staff took place in the central prosecution office. The newly appointed head of the service Andranik Mirzoyan said that RA Government defined 20 posts for the service. The posts are divided into three groups: the official staff, senior and advanced investigating officers. Two floors are disposed to the investigation service in the prosecution office.
According to Mirzoyan only talented, experienced and educated officers will work there. He also reminded that the Investigation service is independent from any other department.
Aghvan Hovsepyan the RA chief prosecutor was present in the swearing meeting. He said that the swearing part is new for the investigation officers, as once only the prosecutors swore. He said that the office will carry out only criminal cases.
Note that the service is created according to RA law about “Special Investigation Service”. It will investigate criminal cases, election unfaithfulness carried out by the officials. This service is independent.
