Today open and closed sessions of state committee of economic competition protection took place and the committee did not satisfy the businessmen’s demands who raised the price of oil and butter on the anticompetition agreement. According to the decision of the committee they fined 2% of last years income.

But a final decision was not announced for one of the companies’ demands, as according to the representative of the company they were not informed about the session. The committee decided to fine “Vas Group” which runs butter business for 500 thousands drams.

According to Ashot Shahnazaryan the arguments of the businessmen for increasing the prices of butter and oil in August-September were not justified. “The businessmen appealed against the decision of the court. They only justified that during that period of time they did not buy and sell oil or butter. In this case where those goods appeared in the market from,” said A. Shahnazaryan.
