AFRICAN PLAGUE RETREATED
African plague cases retreats in the republic. The information is provided by Gevorg Tovmasyan, the deputy director of agriculture ministry veterinary department. According to him new cases of the plague were not registered in Ararat in these days. “The cattle are destroyed and the territory is disinfected, and we keep carrying out the restore activities,” said he.
According to the expert the situations in Lori and Tavush region calmed down also. Tovmasyan said that winter may have positive influence in shortening and preventing the disease, as the cattle is kept inside the buildings.
