“ARMENTEL” GOT 99 REGIONAL CODE: “KH-TELECOM” APPLIED FOR 55 AND 77
The Council of Public Service Regulations announced that today “Armentel” company got the license of using 99 regional code. The council also announced that the company waived the usage of 92 regional code, which they had received but had not used.
Hayk Pharamazyan, the director of “Armentel” policy supervision department said that approximately all the numbers with 91 code are busy and the new numbers with the new code will be in usage since January.
And the other operator of cell phones applied for 99 code. According to Vahan Harutunyan, the legal adviser of “KH-Telecom”, the company applied for getting 55 and 77 regional codes to have balanced and equal competition with the other company, and as well as to improve the quality of the service. The president of the council Robert Kocharyan promised to observe the case.
