According to the Ministry of Education and Science the classes started in the schools which have local heating system today. Arthur Baghdasaryan, the head of public relations department of the ministry said that the classes start in January 13 or 20 in those schools which do not have any heating system. According to him those schools do not have autumn or spring holidays any more as their winter ones last too long. Baghdasaryan also mentioned that there is no final decision about prolonging the winter holidays because of the cold weather.

Note: first class pupils have their autumn holidays from October 29 to November 11; and winter holidays from December 24 to January 20; and spring ones from March 10 to 23. Second classes have autumn holidays from October 29 to November 4; December 24 to January 20; and March 10 to 23. And the rest upper classes: October 29 to November 4; December 24 to January 6; and March 17 to 23.
