FIDE: WE HAVE RETREATED
Armenian chess master and champion of Olympic Games Levon Aronyan has given up his positions according to FIDE rating list. Our chess master is in the 10th place with his 2739 rating points against past 9th as of the January list of FIDE. Vladimir Hakobyan, Armenian chess master has also given up his positions. He is now in the 23rd position against 18th in the past. Gabriel Sargsyan has also gone back by three levels. He is in the 43rd position.
Vladimir Kramnik is heading the list of the best followed by Indian chess player Vishvanat Anand. Veselin Topalov from Bulgaria closes the best three place. Kramnik and Anand have 2799 rating points.
FIDE has also announced the chess ratings of countries. Armenia is in the 5th place according to the list. In the recent list Armenia was in the 4th place. The best chess country is Russia followed by Ukraine and Israel. Azerbaijan is in the 10th place and Georgia is in the 13th. Iran and Turkey are in the 51st and 52nd places respectively.
