MEN CHESS COMPETITION STARTED
Today men chess 68th competition started in Chess House named after Tigran Petrosyan. Totally 13 chess players participate in the competition: Karen Asryan, Smbat Lputyan, Tigran Kotandjyan, Artashes Minasyan, Zaven Andriasyan, Ara Minasyan, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, Tigran Petrosyan, Ashot Anastasyan, Levon Babudjyan, Arsen Eghiazaryan, Arman Pashikyan, and Tigran Nalbandyan.
The former winner of the competition is Karen Asryan. The participants of the competition have chance to play in the country team. S. Lputyan and K. Asryan are considered to be the members of the team. S. Lputyan became the winner forth, and Asryan twice, they both are the favorites of the competition.
Chess competition finishes in January 21.
