LEVON ARONYAN PARTICIPATES IN GRAND-PRIX 2008-2009
Today FIDE announced the names of those chess players, who will participate in grand-prix 2008-2009 competition. Olympic champion and Armenian grand master Levon Aronyan is invited also.
Only the best chess players have the chance to take part in the competition. FIDE listed the following chess players also: Anand, Cramnik, Topalov, Mamediarov, Camski, Ivanchuk, Leko, Morozevich, Radjabov, Gelfand, Carslen, and Cariakin.
Note that the winner of Grand-Prix is given an opportunity to compete with World Cup winner. And the following chess players form the best triple: Vishvanatan Anand, Veselin Topalov, and Vladimir Cramnik.
