PUPILS PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Jautikov international competition takes place in Alma-Ata in January 14-20. The competition is organized for the pupils of schools specialized in Physics and Mathematics subjects. Nuridjan Manukyan, the representative of the Ministry of education and science said that they got the official invitation from Alma-Ata state physics and mathematics school.
According to Manukyan 5 pupils are going to take part in the competition from Yerevan physics and mathematics school. This is the third time the pupils of this school take part in this competition.
41 groups from 16 countries participate in the competition and 200 pupils take part in each group. The specialized schools from Russia, Armenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Indonesia, and other countries are invited too. Specialists from the following countries are invited to form the jury board: Armenia, France, USA, Bulgaria, Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. Note that the group from Romania became the winner in 2007.
