DISCOVER “NEW NAMES” COMPETITION-EXHIBITION
Today Tekeian cultural union Yerevan held an exhibition with the participation of 24 artists.
According to Gayane Muradyan, the coordinator and a member of Tekeian cultural union said that their mission is to discover new names; new faces and the changes in artists’ point of views, but all the participants were the members of Artists’ union.
Hravart Hakobyan, the president of jury said that it is very difficult to be objective and fair in this field but they will try to be. “We are happy to say that the exhibition becomes more and more famous in public. The exhibition is much talked about in the city,” he said.
The jury will announce the winner in January 18. The best artist will get 1000 US dollars and a silver statue which according to jury members costs 100 US dollars.
