ARONYAN-KRAMNIK…FORTH HORIZONTAL
The sixth circle of “Corus Chess-2008” chess competition is over. Norwegian Magnus Karslen is the chess player with the highest scores at the moment; he gained 4.5 scores.
The sixth circle was not so successful for the Armenian player Levon Aronyan. Aronyan lost the game with Vladimir Kramnik for the first time and now he is in the forth horizontal with 3.5 scores.
Thus the leader of the competition is Karslen, then Kramnik and Radjabov. In the next circle Aronyan meets with Azeri Radjabov, Karslen with Bulgarian Topalovich, and Kramnik with Ivanchuk who presents Ukraine.
To sum up the first part of the competition the results are as following Aronyan has 2 victories, 3 in draw and 1 lost in his actives.
