POWER STATION CONDITION
Doctor Peter B. Laionze, the coordinator of the Nuclear Supervision Committee, arrived in Armenia in January 21-22. The main goal of his visit was to get acquainted with the conditions of power station I Metsamor and the projects of constructing new power station in Armenia.
According to the embassy of USA, doctor Laizone discussed the main points with Armenian authorities how the USA can contribute and support the reconstruction of the new power station. Doctor Laizone met with the officials from the ministries of energetic, foreign affairs, environmental protection, and Armenian Sate Power Station Supervision. He visited the power station in Metsamor also.
