BOTH SUCCEEDED
Armenian Grand Master Tigran Petrosyan won in the first circle of the “Gibtelecom Chess Festival” chess competition. His competitor was Amig who presented France in the competition.
Armenian Grand Master Varujan Danielyan who presents the USA in the competition won also. His competitor was Jakobsen who presented Denmark. The list of the other chess players covers Grishchuk, Vong Yun, Nakamura, Georgin, Fridman and others.
Note that the competition started in January 22 and lasts till the end of the month. The present champion of the competition is Armenian Vladimir Hakobyan.
