GERMAN EMBASSY PROVIDES LITERATURE FOR 500 000 EURO TO SCHOOLS
Today Ara Avetisyan, the deputy minister of education and science received the delegation of German embassy headed by the Ambassador Andrea Victorin.
The deputy minister highly appreciated the role of the European institutes for Armenia’s integration and said “The high spread of German literature in Armenian schools opens new perspectives for our children to communicate with each other and to think of their future educational plans”.
The Ambassador said that the German embassy and Goethe institute bought German literature for 500 000 euro and the literature will be divided among 20 schools. According to Ambassador the work starts from Sevan school number one on 12 February. As for the plan changing students and professional, Mr. Brish, the head of DAAD program in Armenia said that approximately thousand students got scholarships and studied in Germany since 1991.
